A happy new year to you! I hope your Christmas was as peaceful, gentle and joyful as possible, it's a funny old time isn't it?
Mine was as nice as it could be given some tricky circumstances, but life is never without some complications, it's how we live in spite of the complications I think.
Anyway, here we are fresh in 2025 and although I'm not really one for resolutions, I have made a conscious decision to pay more attention to Words by Catherine Prutton, to try and grow it some more. I'm not really sure what that entails as yet but I plan to be a more proactive and less reactive. I've got so far by being reactive and it's gone pretty well, so I'm forcing myself to imagine how much more it can grow if I really prioritise it!
With this in mind I urge you to just give something a go if you're thinking about it, pull at that thread and see what it unravels. The older I get the quicker time seems to go, if there's something you want to do just give it a try. Start where you are with what you have, it doesn't have to be perfect, take a small step and learn as you go.
I wish you a cosy January, hibernate if you need to, take a tip from nature and wait for the warmer weather to begin to bloom. Hibernating is an important part of the process, we cannot bloom all year round.
If you need me I'll be under a blanket, with a hot water bottle on my lap and cup of tea in my hand, and only leaving the house if it's really necessary.
